This is a very nice vintage piece - a Blue Box era Tyco AeroTrain, if I'm not mistaken....but the price!

Here's some nice piggyback trailers that are fairly hard to get. Will they bring the asking price we will soon know...

ALSO found this pair of HTG trailers from the same seller. I have bought some nice items from this seller in the past. Sometimes a bit pricey but comes up with some cool pieces...

Those piggyback trailers are awesome, walt!!! I love those TrueValue ones

This lot includes a Burlington Northern piggyback car, and is currently at a good price......thought I would post it here, as it ends today!

I was crazy about the Tyco piggybacks a few years back and ended up buying 10 of each one offered by Tyco. They were quite expensive at that time also...

This was a crazy amount of vintage Tyco stuff in 1 huge lot I obtained by winning an auction last Sunday, for about $40.00, shipped!! In particular, I was very pleased to have won 2 piggyback cars, the red and blue tractors for trailers, Tyco Union Pacific F7's, accessories, AND the Hershey's box car!!!!

True story: within one of the delapidated Tyco piggyback set boxes, in one of the corroded cardboard inserts, was not only a bag filled with mint Tyco telephone poles and signs, but a NIP HANDRAIL SET for an ALCO C430!!! That was an amazing treasure, something that I didn't even expect!!

What do you guys think, was this a good deal??? By the way, some of the items here will be cleaned and posted on the Trading Post, so stay tuned!

Nice haul, RP.

Looking at this from a birds eye view, I see 3 engines, a Hershey's car, Purina checkerboard car, a auto train, piggybacks, track and more. Add in the handrails and mint phone poles, yes, $40 was a great deal. Congrats.

Thanks Brian! Yes, this lot contained some stupendous items! Actually, the shell to the powered UP F7 was a bit more busted up than the dummy shell....so I simply switched out the power trucks to the better-looking shell, lubed it, and now it runs great!

The Santa Fe C430 actually has a broken part on the shell...but once again, upon testing it, the powered trucks work excellently! My goal is to get a better-condition C430 shell, which I can mount on those trucks, in the near future.

Nice grab, Robert! It's always fun to get something you never planned on in a large lot. I have nearly everything I need for my layout except for ground coverage like turf, grasses , dirt, etc. But I remember the fun I had buying all the stuff!

Thanks Walt, yes, that lot was filled with treasures! I have the same feeling, the Ephrata Valley Railroad being constructed over 2 years ago is still on my mind, like it happened yesterday.

Here's an auction for the hard-to-find Santa Fe Blue Warbonnet C430 - appears to be in great shape!

Here's an auction RP put me onto. These rarely come to auction, and it will be interesting to see
if it takes off.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tyco-HO-scale-Bubble-Yum-50-box-car/112651546029?hash=item1a3a8e2dad:g:B4UAAOSwAaJaFON4

The lady with the Red PC Tyco coaches turned down my $15 offer for the lot saying that she
"was patient." Patient she may be, but I know that on top of all the other fees, that amount
to about 25% of the sale, eBay charges a relisting fee each and every time, and she just
relisted them as three seperate items.

So far, nothing has changed with the Bubble Yum box car auction, and it ends tomorrow.

Here's a Tyco/Mantua vintage Santa Fe yellow warbonnet B-Unit, and I'm pretty sure these don't appear too often. Looks to be in great shape!

Here's yet another auction for the Tyco scarce Santa Fe blue warbonnet Alco C430, and again, it is from the Ebay seller named "mr. tyco," who sold another ATSF blue warbonnet C430 in box not too long ago, and also sold the NP Sharknose.

One of my favorite Tyco pieces listed at a high, but what I call a fair price. That is until you read the description and find out this is one that the labels are starting to flake off. This is a fairly common problem found on the Domino Hopper...

Here's a listing I figured you guys would be interested in -- several Tyco piggyback trailers /other manufacturers' HO-Scale trailers, as well as a few truck cabs -- including green, red, and painted black Tyco Kenworth trucks, with 2 Dodge Cabovers also. Some need their pins (that connect to the piggyback trailers) repaired. At a fairly decent price right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HO-scale-semi-trucks-and-trailers-lot/142601052426?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Chops, I have ten of them and they were always a bit expensive. Probably harder to find than the Yum ones now....

Seatrain never had semi trailer with wheels under it. Note no step hanging down on the rear. They only come as container pieces on a flatcar...

I don’t believe that is a Tyco product. I have seen this one before. Someone will identify its maker...

Looking at the trucks, it's an IHC. They're similar to tyco but almost have a "bulkier" apperance.

Thanks for the info, DanMack...

Also, The Seatrain containers fit the other trailer frames the just don't have the back step bumper. Guess a guy could easily add one...
