Ben, I went to a trainshow and a fella had the whole set with no boxes wanting $175 for it all! Everything he had was ridiculous. Tried to sell me 2-3 coaches, a obersvation and RPO with a ABA set the Tyco red box era for like $160!

WOW!!!!! I can't believe this all....too funny people would think the tyco 2-8-0 is worth $50, NEVERMIND any more then that!

As for the O scale GG-1 it be worth a "G" IF it were post war! BUT as someone mentioned, the box to the tower is like late 1990's to date! (I remember selling those in the hobby shop where my repair shop derived from!

No it wasn't, I wassaying tho if it "were post war" it might be worth it.....

But as I said it was WAY to new for that those trucks are plastic in the pictures, and the post war stuff had metal diecasted trucks if I'm not mistaken and really crude castings....

The postwar stuff was rather crude and plastic was spared for bodies and boilers and what not.

Actually that stuff would be considered Post War..... Which would be from the war, to today!

Its the pre-war stuff thats the old stuff! Which back then was all tin plate type stuff!
