i have this tyco loco and would like to replace the couplers with new kadee ones does anyone know what kit this would use

Whoops, saw your Kadee reference AFTER I posted. Here's a Kadee conversion for this type of connection. See the website link for instructions, it's a #9 kit and a shim.

Had the same problem with a GP20! But I only removed the old coupler and glued the original coupler cover to the bracket. Also did a Q-Tip job! http://www.tycoforums.com/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6896 Erich
