Thanks Frank. No.. No tender, but I tend to like to add the incomplete kit-bash/scratch-built projects in my collection, whenever I can find them. This being one. Maybe someday when I have time=, I can look to complete them, but for now they will sit on my shelves, just the way I acquired them.

Everything I have added thus far I still have in my collection and have not sold. Adding some more now...

Scratch-built O Scale WM Challenger Class M-2 4-6-6-4 Steam Locomotive - Everything but the motor and the main drivers have been scratch-built. Even the nuts that are used to assemble the model and used as details around areas like the smokebox are hand made. You can tell this because they are consistently slightly different thicknesses and slightly out of shape (hex nut thicknesses and side lengths vary ever so slightly)

OK.. this one is kind of a stretch as it is not all brass, but I still hold it in high regard, especially since it is a full set with the really rare wooden tender.

PRR Class T-1 Duplex, 4-4-4-4 - ALL Brass Custom Scratchbuilt

This is a completely scratchbuilt brass steam locomotive. It was listed on eBay in Vintage and Antique Toys.

It is HO scale.
It is not powered.
The boiler chassis is solid straight through both sets of drivers.

It is painted for PRR, but I was not able to find any proof of it being prototypical.

HO Scale Vintage Brass Winton Allegheny 2-6-6-6 - These came in kit form and were terribly basic - left a lot to the imagination on completing the model. I've been told they were quite challenging to build and rarely come up to market as completed models.

Mantua Pre-WWII Brass 4-4-2 Atlantic Steam Locomotive

This is a very rare engine. It was produced with a Brass C-channel chassis, large 6-volt motor and a sand cast brass and machine turned boiler. Produced approx 1939 - 1948. Usually it is found almost of all brass construction, but sometimes items like the steam chest and smoke box cover are diecast.

They were produced with a Wootten firebox which was very wide to allow combustion of anthracite coal waste, known as Culm on the prototypes, but fit for use in this scale loco, it was to allow for the use of the large 6-volt motor.

Custom Brass HO Scale Scratch Built Northern 4-8-4 Chassis
- This one has a Walthers Baltic pilot truck on it. Have been tempted to take it to use with my Walthers Baltic, but I hate to tear apart this pretty unique project find.
