Hi gang, I just wanted to let you know that I have a video posted on YouTube of my Tyco A Team set in action. The video features a cab ride and action scenes and was a fun father and son project. Search for Tyco A Team Train in You Tube and you should find it. Enjoy!

I liked it! Cool video and layout. What camera were you using that was able to fit on the trains? I bought a wireless mini-cam set a while back, but it doesn't produce video quality as good as your camera seems to.

Thank you for posting the link, I am glad that you enjoyed the video. Believe it or not, the camera is actually a Hot Wheels camera car! I picked it up on clearance after the holidays for about $20.00 at Target. For the in cab shots, I set the camera on a flat car and put the cut up remains of an old f-unit in front of the camera lens. I will post some more videos in the future including our rendition of the Great locomotive Chase in G-scale.

Yeah, those shots from the "driver's seat" or from whoever's hangin' onto the tank car . . . really cool Steven.

Since my secret is out, here is how I did it. I just copied the way they do it in the movies. Thank you all for such great support, there will be more fun videos to follow. I'm thinking about a Pennsy GG-1 video, Ghostbusters and Speed racer. Cast your ballots here for which one to do first! Ha ha

Wow...that's all I can say Too cool for words. I tried something similar with our little camera but the little camera was WAY too big, could only take sideways shots.

That was pretty funny. An AHM C-Liner shell was sacrificed for the cause, I see.

It shoots surprisingly good video for such a small inexpensive item It even records sound and they claim that it is in "high deff" I don't know about that one, but I will say the picture is good and clear and the memory will hold about 5 mins. of video. I have a video of a cab ride shot down the engineer side of the boiler of a Tyco 2-8-0. I will try to post that one after I do some editing.

That camera car reminds me of the SP K-M camera car #8799. If you built up a body around yours it would look pretty cool
