yeah really!! I saw one similar that a member had of a long defunct local model railroad club & the middle cars would either highcenter or derail everytime it went around the corners The middle cars seemed to lift up & they'd derail
Yes do want this set in any condition running or not

I see he has an offer. I've seen similar sets on ebay for way less. And for that price I would expect it to be 100% complete and with zero issues - meaning everything works on it, no scratches, etc.
And, also be plated in solid gold

I will say that the long box for the 3 cars is pretty cool. Not $1500 dollars cool however. There is another set with no box with 1 bid at $160 - much more sane.

Interesting. I wonder why my shell has just the last like inch hacked off? I wasn't sure how much was gone until seeing that one.
