They did nose art on fighter aircraft, this seems like a natural. Got this Mantua metal Shark shell along with the black Red Box Tyco Switcher this week, I'm thinking of having it painted gray with a white bottom, and the classic "teeth" like on some WWII fighter aircraft, I think the P-40 warhawk. I think this'll look neat. I'll have to try to find some shark decals for aircraft to do this. Here's my Paint rendition of what it might look like. What do you think?

It's.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRReat! Oh, wait, that's a Tiger...never mind. Tiger shark?

If you made an A-A set would you have a school of sharks? Is the town in the center of the oval in trouble since the sharks are circling it?
Look great.

I did find some decals online, I've also tried a local flying hobby shop ( no luck ) and a general hobby store ( decals too small ), so I may have to buy online. Here's a sample of a sheet I found.

If these are 4 x 6 sheets, they're probably too small. I'll have to find out more on them first. But since these are 1/48, they should be bigger than the 1/72 I was looking at. Hard to judge online pictures well.

Well, I did find a sheet at the Iron Horse hobby shop in Reading, PA this past Saturday, so I got it. I cut out one side and propped it up on a shark. I think it'll turn out good! Maybe a little small, but doable.

This wasn't the first shell, but I had this Tyco handy, so used it for the photo op. I think it'll be an awesome piece, if I can do it right. Rail shark!

Ha-Ha! These are great! Would anyone be game enough to sharkify their PRR T1? Even if I had one, I just couldn't do it.
