Here is mine this week, unknown manufacturer kit from the 50's, I'm guessing. Has the old circle hook couplers. The axle shafts are huge, about as big as a band driven engine shaft.

This is mine for the week. Dont know much about it except that it is wood seems old and someone took some time building it. I just got it Sunday at a train show. I have to repair the roof walk, but all the grab irons are there as well as the underpiping and brake detail. I think with a lil work it will be looking good soon, Best part was the price a whole 50 CENTS.

My COTW is a Tyco Coke box car, one of two that I have. This one was a gift sent to me in Ohio from a guy I met thru ebay online in 2001 who lives in NC. I've never met the guy personally. I made a trip from Pigeon Forge ,TN over to Flat Rock, NC to try to make a surprise visit, but was unable to locate him due to the Rural Route address I had at the time. Addresses there have since been changed to street names with numbers. However, This is the ONLY car I have with other than the horn hook couplers!

Luck, usually comes dressed in work clothes...

Cool stuff guys. Those vintage boxcars are really neat.
Here's my latest aqcuisition purchased from a forum member (arrived today). This brings my Tyco PC set to a total of...errr...2 cars After a replacement lightbulb, coupler, some oil and a good cleaning it runs just like new
