are not descended from lung fish or shrews, that I can tell, and
I've read and seen everything on the subject of evolution I can
get my hands on. (By this thread of logic we are descendants
of Trilobites and before that, coral).
The cat, my alter ego, hence the moniker "Chops," is a brat.
Sometimes he sleeps on my head, sometimes my feet.
Sometimes he craves affection, sometimes he jumps
on the mantle piece and dashes family heirlooms to the
floor. Sometimes he massages my legs with his paws,
other times he flips his tail into the air in a universal
gesture of contempt and stalks off. Once, he left me
a dead, rotten pigeon under my bed, presumably as
an offering.
Back to Tyco , my own tastes run to the nostalgic and home spun.
While I do have a few projects where I try to project a more
photo real aspect, I have much more interest in the home spun
projects found herein as that it is a form of folk art. And folk
art is a deep journey to soul.

Would someone please explain to me why this rather ordinary
looking, but nicely done, car sold for nearly $1800 after 29

Something is rotten in Denmark. This appears to be identical to the last auction.
Is it a case of buyer's regret and they are trying to unload this back into the market?
What's up with all these amateur early bids? No one does that unless they don't know
what they are doing, or someone is trying to stir the pot.
Again, a nice model yes, but one could probably commission a five car set at these
prices.

I like it, as Frank Fritz would say, but I don't like it at $214. What
astonishes me is that there are 15 bids on it. I put up a bundle of
Tyco USA 1 track switches with a starting bid at $3 and for two
months I got no interest at all except for an inquiry if I would ship
to Portugal.
I suspect the phone booth rings true for those of us who remember
those contraptions in a pre-celluar age.
