Yeah, maybe. But honestly, that is a very strange mistake. The price isn't bad, honestly, but it's the wrong item.

This one bothers me a bit as this common seller of trains is advertising this Wonder hopper as MINT, when at least 2 steps are missing on it! http://www.ebay.com/itm/HO-TRAINS-RARE-AHM-WONDER-BREAD-QUAD-HOPPER-BILLBOARD-ADVERTISING-TRAIN-CAR-MINT-/231504774787?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35e6c28683

Jerry, I believe that the seller has revised the description. I almost never do this but emailed the seller to mentioned at least 2 missing steps missing visible on the photo. He wrote back quickly and said, "Thank you I never noticed that".

You are COMPLETELY INCORRECT! There is absolutely NO comparison to the Kiddush look of these sets compared to anything Tyco produced. You are making insane comments that no one here will believe... I'm not sure how in your mind, you can come up with a statement so crazy...

I know Tyco trains are toys but the Chatanooga Choo Choo somewhat appears like a real engine and train cars as does most of their line of trains Sure the NAME is a bit crazy.
My argument of corny is something that looks like it was made by Fisher-Price such as the battery operated sets mentioned. They are low quality and fail to entertain most adults. Had mine not been a gift I would have already given it to some kid or thrift store..
As far as Tyco's billboard cars may be a little odd and colorful, a real box car could fairly easily be painted-decorated that way if they so desired or if laws don't prohibit it done. We see this on Semi trailers everyday.
I've never picked up a Tyco train car and laughed at it thinking, OMG, what a crazy looking example of a toy train this is... But when I unwrapped the Battery train on Christmas, Thru my fake smile and my pretend to liking it, I'm thinking , really? really?
To justify this purchase, it was chosen by a 10 year old girl believing I would like it. I will keep the set for my lifetime only for that reason...

Not true! I was stone cold sober and blew $50 on a decent little Mantua 1880 flat car. In the one photo it was parked in front of a very unique and beautiful 1880 box car and I got into a bidding war thinking it was not just a simple little flat. It was a viscous bidding war down to the last few seconds.
My lucky day, the seller was very decent about it (when I opened a little piece of crumpled tissue) and promptly refunded me $35 when he, we, discovered the superimposition of the photo as an error.
Well, I guess that accounts for 0.5%, the other 0.5% being Rod Stewart or Bill Gates incognito.

I had never seen the Maxwell hopper at a train show when I used to attend them. They don't sell for $50 bucks but I have seen some nice boxed ones sell in the mid $30 range... I gave one to my nephew two years ago Christmas....

Very interesting looking engine, insane price.

Nope, it has a PM-1 motor. The only steamer to suffer that ignominy was the Chattanooga.
I have that same D&RG Mastadon with the insert, but no box. I'll only charge $250.
