any one have an idea what the spacing should be between posts.
Went on line and found a Model R R magazine forum that says 24,36, 42, 52 posts per mile.
Something's wrong when converted to scale miles

I keep thinking I'll go measure the real ones, but I never get around to it.

I was told in Ohio the poles are placed every quarter of a mile. But that info was not from an electrician or someone that would know for sure. So I will cover myself claiming I don't know that to be a fact...

| I just space them to what looks good, in HO that's about every 10".

| According to the Walther's diagrams, 14-21 inch spacing (on an HO layout) or 100-150 scale feet is prototypical. You can space them closer together if you want some forced perspective.
