Hello All, I have an Ebay bid on a boxed Mantua B&O 'President Adams' Pacific. It is in the Mantua Collectible box with wooden stand. It is supposedly 'new' in the box. Upon looking closely, the tender has a pair of 4-Wheel trucks, not the usual 6-wheel that are on most Mantua tenders. Did somebody change these, or was this something unusual done by Mantua. Any help is appreciated! Chris

from what i can find on internet, all the presidential p7 class had 4 wheel tender trucks with the exception,of 4 which in 1927 were streamlined with larger tenders which had 6 wheel trucks

Thanks, Ken, I guess that would have been a good one to win, but alas, I was outbid with about 10 seconds to go! Won a nice NYC loco though (see my PM, Ken) Chris
