shaygetz! Those Plymouths sure mess with my scale perception. I thought they were O and HO at first! Toots for the silver horns.
Also a nice switcher, romcat. Which is oldest; CPR script or block lettering scheme?

Hey Ken:
Nice Gilbert.
Thought the same thing O & HO
Script follows Block as I understand it. the Script was applied approx 1960-1965/6/7?

This is the last Athearn SE set I had been hunting for - the very hard to find PC U33C set. Kit #2229. The red "P" 6557 is powered the 6540 is a dummy. Larry

Last week Catfordken had his Sharp Looking 31005 Hudson. This Week I have my 155 NYC Hudson. This engine was produce 1947-49 with no number under the cab. The engine has the smoke unit in tender, powered by another motor. You can see the Bellows that blows the smoke though a hose though the boiler to the Smoke stack.. The bellows are 60 years old and still have no tears. I'm afraid to run the tender unit, the bellows might fall apart. . I have two others, only this one has the bellows intact.. Carl

Hi toptrain! Nice RS3, is it really Brunswick green?
VintageHO, that tender looks more complicated on the inside than some locos. Imagine the spectacle it would be running without its shell, all huffing and puffing. I think it's quite a clever design for the time.

This is a Brunswick green. Brunswick green is a color closer to a black, with just a hint of green in it. As time wient on thwe color faded to a lighter green.

One of my holy grails is the Ingersoll-Rand by MDC/Roundhouse. Add the track-pad cleaners and it is all right with the world. This locomotive was found the same day/show as the Lionel/Athearn/Globe Hustler.
The previous owner got head lights included... this loco sold me for $30.
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

This isn't exactly a loco of the week, but I scored this box of mostly old Athearn drives at my LHS tonight. It must weigh 20 pounds.
I got me some cleaning up to do. I'm beginning to see how old ladies can end up with 800 cats.
