Bril, Ken, thanks for the vids! I wonder if an HO version of the Commodore Vanderbilt has been done; She was striking. Just 2 weeks past since I cycled over to the Museum of Science & Industry here in Chicago and saw the Pioneer Zephyr. http://www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/pioneer-zephyr/ I must say we are spoilt for trainspotting here in Norhtern Illinois... ...and I don't mean in museums, either. I spotted an AMTRAK Corridor Clipper electric parked at Chicago Union Station this afternoon. An unlikely sight, as we have no catenary except for what was up in Skokie for the CTA Yellow Line Swift that has since been converted to third-rail. Ta!

Ken, these old newsreels are pretty cool. The original Streamliner! Awesome sauce.
I've asked Santa for a HO Pioneer Zephyr this christmas but I'm not sure I've been a good enough boy. Fingers crossed.
