just got this off ebay mantua hudson,supposed to be genuine mantua sound system?,hole in tender does not seem,right to rough,not a screw in sight to hold it in place,plus loco was supposed to be as it left factory,which i do not believe due to finish and lack of handrails full stop ken

Ken it came with a battery connection. yours doesn't seam to have it. The red and black are proably the wires to connect to it. I am glad you showed this. I have two in boxes I have to find now because, I may have forgotten to remove the batteries.

morning frank,yep its not what i bought it for,supposed to have been mint,but as you can see its only good for a repaint,guy says thats the way he bought it from states, in Huntington Beach,CA in the 90s ken

frank i always thought the kits were prior to the 78 set up,and hudson dont show in the pre 80 catalogs ken
