Hello All, I've just purchased (Ebay) a set of 5 Model Power streamline cars in SP Daylight livery to match my HO Lionel GS-4. Does anyone know anything about these cars? The ad stated that they have interiors and metal wheels/axles. From the photos, they have a strong resemblence to Athearn cars. Any info on these would be helpful (like, are they based on Athearn? How do the interiors look? Quality? etc.). Thanks, Chris

The cars are made in Brazil by Frateschi. The interiors are one piece molded plastic. I have always thought highly of their products. The cars arn't from Athearn tooling. Frateschi produce a wide range of products including track, buildings, and a electric suburban train. Some of the building kits are avilavble in Model Power packaging. Frateschi have a nice site with English translation.
