Picked this up in a lot today, It is a ROCO, anyone have a pic of the engine that would go with it?

I think it is kind of cool looking. And what is the best way to clean the dust off of these? Thanks,
Russell

It's just a Bachmann that someone added a poor orange paint job too.

Compressed air works good for loose dust. AFter that, just warm soapy water and a toothbrush, soft or worn bristles, will do the trick. that's all I've used for dust removal, if you look at my previous Building post, I cleaned up the Tyco Union 76 Gas station with nothing but warm water and some some dish soap and a soft brush. Came out nice!

I'd love to know what happened there. That's not right.
I usually use water, soap only if necessary. Q-tips can help push the water into some of the details. Compressed air is good for removing the bulk of heavy dust.
On the other hand, some things look good dusty.

Yes, it has ammonia in it...NOT the best thing to use on painted surfaces! I agree. Plain ol' hot water and dish liquid soap is usually enough. Alcohol afterward for any stubborn stains, I've used alky on my Model Power Nabisco boxcars after using brake fluid to remove the tampo paint, and they don't look any worse for the washing. Older makes, though, not sure. As always caution first, test clean any area on an inconspicuous area to make sure there's no adverse reactions.
