This must be a remake, as the markings on it appears to have been scratched out in the mold. I've had no luck trying to find out this caboose maker, but I like it because it's on an oversized frame, a 53' long HO scale flat. The blue Lionel C&O in the background is more typical for the work caboose lengths, about 40 feet. I've put windows in the Lionel unit, and almost done doing the same to Mystery 201. Another unit to join my Traveling Tourist Train once completed.

Found a neat site last night, you can buy caboose interiors for $7.25, gives you 6 layout options with the extra pieces. they'll be a bit large for the work cabooses, but you get stove, ladders, etc. in it. I may buy a couple to see what the quality is like.
Anyway, anyone with ideas on who made this long MOW 'boose let me know. Thanks!

It reminds me of the AHM car that goes with their crane.

Yes, I think it a crane or boom tender. I looked at several pictures today at lunch while surfing, and of course the cranes have work cabooses, and several were longer than the 40' standard. So I searched on crane and boom tenders, and found more pics of longer versions. So I believe that is correct, it is probably a boom tender, just not sure who made it. Might be Model Power. I'll keep looking.
