Hey fella's:

Found these pics from the Bay Area 2010 prototype builders show thanks to a link in the small LO design group. This style of layout/diorama is calle a "Pizza layout" which I assume is self-explanatory.

Anyway the pics!:

That is made of awesome, Gareth. One big advantage of building so small is the ability to really concentrate on detail. That plant is unbelievable.

Hey Nelson:

I know I shook my head several times... what a great stage for photography. pivot by hand or motor and whalla! Such a great switch from lifetime/roomsize monsters that get the magor MRR mags attention. By the way did you see the July RMC great pocket terminal RR ERIE yard in NY.

No, I haven't bought an RMC in years, but I'll have to take a look. Have you seen the CNJ Bronx Terminal layout Tim Warris has been building? http://www.youtube.com/user/TimWarris

Hey Nelson:

Been following Tim's work for a couple years and the NYC Terminal RR's for several more. On my next trip to NY. I'll head own to the Bronx/Harlem and take some phot's and grab a piece pf old track or a spike. I have one from the NYC Putnam division.

Love all the little NYC "roads"!

Hmm...very nice! Very appetizing, not cheesily done, either. No matter how you slice it, it looks GREAT!

That is a cool layout. The twice-around with the crossover adds quite a bit of interest to the pizza concept.
