Patrick McGinnis' flashy New Haven paint scheme compelled model railroad companies from Lionel to Athearn to offer miniature versions. I'm curious to know whether anyone has seen a Mantua/Tyco F in the Mcginnis paint. Crazy, you say? Well, Tyco offered a one-sheet in 1960 titled "ready to run ho train sets for '60" which clearly shows a McGinnis A/A pair head-ending T617, the Colonial Limited. Is the engine a one-off? Is it (more likely) a pair of "borrowed" Athearn McGinnis F's? (Tyco's initial catalog appearance of the auto-loader shows what appears to be a thinly disguised Athearn auto-loader, laden with Athearn Cadillacs, so there is another clear example to my Athearn/Tyco speculation.) Old hands out there: pick your brains on the matter and chime in. Magnolia Academy

The only EMDs carbody units in McGinnis were the FL9s. For carbody units they went to ALCO and FM. They had FAs, PAs, C-liners and one DL-109 made it into the new scheme. Any Fs are non prototypical.
The original three color Mcginnis is a tough paint scheme to do. So most likely a one off.
