Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows who made this flat car and when? Was it made to fit over another flat car base? Or did it have it's own? Wood base maybe? As you can see this is metal. This came in the same misc. box the Great One gave me on Sat.

Thanks again
Mike

Hi Mike. The Bessemer & Lake Erie Flatcar is a Varney item. It is part of a group of stamped steel cars made in the early 1950s.. Metal cover fits over a wood core with a diecast spline, & sprung trucks. Carl
