Hello all! I just purchased a santa fe disneyland mantua/tyco train.It looks good in the pics but says its inoperable.comes with one passenger car too.Dont know how rare it is but going to look at getting it running.Ill post pics as soon as I get it.

Hi Royal Blue,
I was watching that same auction. The set is listed in the Tyco 1967-68 catalog, the auction listed it as an 80's model. I had 5 of these loco's and have recently sold 2 of them. I also have the set in it's original box, all cars and inserts too. It's a cool set. In my opinion it's a pretty rare set and loco, but I'm no expert. They're pretty easy to work on, good luck with getting yours up and running.

Have fun hunting at the train show. I'm originally from Delaware and miss the good train shows in that area. I moved to Houston 5 years ago, there are a few shows here but not as many as there were up north.
