Ok, new member here, been collecting various HO scale items for years. I had this same set in the "Tyco Streamliner" version but also picked this up "Baltimore and Ohio" version.

My question is, what am I missing in the box? Track or a transformer?
Any idea where I would be able to find the missing piece?

Thanks,
Tim

The space wouldn't have been for a fourth car would it? It seems odd that Tyco would include either track or a transformer without the other. I may be wrong though. I couldn't find any catologs on the net...maybe someone else will know for sure

Nice set BTW!

The picture is somewhat deceiving, the length of one of the boxes if rotated the other way in the set box, wont fit. So i dont think that it could be for another car, good idea though. On http://www.hoseeker.net/tycoinformation/tycocatalog50page3.jpg there is a catalog of the same set except labeled tyco streamliner, sold for 44.95 back in 195?. Also underneath there is another title (set T-5 same set without power-pak). -2 couldve been the roadname change, i dunno... however I found a piece of paper under the loco box.. set # T5-2 with diesel locomotive (lighted)

3 streamline cars (lighted)
16 sections of track
1 terminal track section
1 rerailer track section
1 uncoupling ramp
1 portable rerailer

$44.95

So that works out to be 22" radius curve
The rerailer a straight piece
the terminal a straight piece

the uncoupling ramp and the portable rerailer i am not familiar with
what type of track did tyco use back then, was it their own?

Did all these additional items maybe come in one box as an accessory track box?

Sorry for all the questions but I am not a huge tyco person, mostly a rivarossi and lionel ho collection.
