my loco of the week is my first mehano steam loco and goes well fast or slow,just need to find a boiler door with headlamp ken

Mine is this Plymouth switcher from the 60s...I'm assuming AHM but I've been wrong before
Got it at a local hobby shop not known for bargains. It was lying in a box of used stuff, mostly junk. I asked how much he wanted, he said $10. Seeing me getting ready to put it back in the box, he said, "Tell you what, I'll put it on the test track...if it runs you give me $10, if it don't, it's $5." I told him fair enough---he lost. BTW...It's purring like a kitten even now as I type...little oil, little wheel cleaning was all she needed.

Seems like a real variety this week, so I'm going to show this:
It's a Bachmann, got it at a train show a few months ago for $15. Sure it looks like a big tough loco, but it runs like crap. Gotta keep the track perfectly clean to get a smooth ride.
