It seems like there are more models of CN pass cars around than CP. I've been after a set of these for a while. Finally got my hands on a decent consist of Rivarossi streamliners today. Car names are Louise, Stuart Manor, Algonquin Park, 2293. Here are some pics:

I don't have a proper engine to pull them yet, but this will do for now

Hey Kiddo:
You can pick up an early Atlas/Roco EMD FP-7 in CP Maroon/Grey pretty modestly. It would look about perfect pulling that sheet metal....

It's a fun little train to run I like the look of the silver cars with the stripe above the windows. It reminds me of the early Tyco and AF cars.

The next show I hit, a CP passenger unit will definitely be high on my list. The two I had in mind were either an Athearn F-7 or a Rivarossi E unit, although I'll be keeping my eyes open for anything that fits the bill.

Eric:
maybe a dual MU-2 Tyco F-7 in CP Paint!? While you may find a CP "E" unit I don't think they were used by CP. If I'd didn't have plans for my MIB Atlas/Roco FP-7 in CP Livery I'd offer it to you...

Hey Eric:
Forgot to say I have three NIB MP CP Rail Stainless passenger cars. No Idea what I'll do with them....
BTW; do you have any clapped out Tyco streamliner cars, doesn't matter the road, I need them for a Kitbash project for the Electric RR club I belong to.... Don't need trucks.

Thanks!
Gareth: No streamliner shells I'm afraid. If I ever find some I have another project in mind. My plan is a Blue stripe with Via lettering and riding on Athearn streamliner trucks.
I don't think CP had any E units either, I just really like the Rivarossi engines :D

Hey Cheez:
What about making an FP-7/9 from a Tyco F-7 A&B shells? I'm thinking of doing this. Mike sent me a Tyco F7 A shell and two "B"'s so I was thinking about a GO Transit FP7?

Wow...I just had to look up what the difference between an F7 and an FP7 was. Sad eh?
So basically it's just an F7 extended by four feet? Rather than putting together multiple F7 shells, could I not just cut down an E7 shell and throw some 4 wheel trucks on it?
It sounds like a cool project, but it might be kinda hard for me (at the moment anyways). I don't really have a workbench, most repairs are limited to the dining room table :D Maybe some day though... The Tyco GO engine would be neat.

Differnet engines (powerplants), different vents/stacks etc. .... the F7 with addition is way more acccurate than an "E" whatever version...
I might be able to spare a Tyco "B" shell. Mike (Hypo) sent me a a couple as well as a revell F7A shell and a Tyco F7A.
