Hey Guys:
Does anyone have one of the Rivarossi GG-1 Bicentennial Conrail locomotives? Am I right in understanding that only one of the driver sets is powered? How do they run btw?
Thanks, Gareth

So dropping in another Driver set would seem to be the thing to do! I saw an article somewhere online about this. I may try this on a couple of Tyco Super 630's I have!

This is an old post, but Gareth I bought an extra power truck and double-motored mine, and wired the motors in series to reduce the speed. Works really well.

Hi Guys. If you want a dual powered. Just get a IHC Premium GG-1. It also has Flywheel drives and directional lighting. These Drives run Smooth. Gareth, all you have to do is put your Rivarossi Bicentennial shell on the drive. No Mods Necessary. With IHC out of business you would have to look for the engines on Internet, eBay or Train shows. I picked one up at a show with a cracked shell for $25. Put the drive under My Favorite Rivarossi Shell, PRR 4935 "BlackJack" Carl

Hi Gareth. Very Similar to the Rivarossi Frame. Plastic. But, with A Big Lead Weight in the center..
Here is some Pictures of one I have that needs wheels.
