hi there guys,hi from the philippines,hope somebody can help me on my tyco trains,my brother sent me some tyco trains from new jersey,but one of the trains have a busted gears,the motor is good, but it wont run because of the gears,just want to know if there are gears sold separately,by the way,the broken gears are connected to the wheels,its under the motor,hope somebody can help,model trains are not so popular here,and no parts available,in our city,bacolod i know only two guys who are into this hobby one is a dutch,one is a overseas worker..try to post some pictures of the busted gears thanks a lot

The gears may be available, just post the model, board #, etc. of the engine, and we may be able to reference that as well. Like a UP #2991, may be a common model, and easy to locate without pictures. Just a thought. Parts are out there to repair them but tracking them down could be interesting. Sometimes it's easier to buy another engine on Ebay for parts to fix the one.
