This is the way it arrived for the seller with PT power, AAR trucks, screw in Mantua Tyco weight, filled rear lights and snap on truck frames that sets it apart from mere PTed Geeps. It's missing the nose herald and is the second of two recent lucky ICG finds.
I submit that it is original but uncatalogued from around '74-'75 era.
Comments welcomed.

It's for any locomotive that you think is worth showing, at least that's the way I roll:) I try to use Tyco or Tyco related, for example the Mehano Alcos that Tyco used in the last offered sets that replaced the C430s. But I have shown DD40s and a kit bashed BL2 and Athearn HiFis drives as well.

Okay, since it's slow this week, here are some pics I took a while back of my American Flyer Hudson proudly showing off its carbon footprint.

This was the first photo, which quickly taught me not to photograph it at full throttle. *choke*

Hey NickelPlate; I see I ain't the only one with a Hudson made by American Flyer! I have one of these and it has the Wabash name on the tender. When I acquired it a few years ago, I had to strip it down, clean all the gummed up crud out of it, then lubricated it, and it ran fine once assembled. I may have to do it again since it runs slower than it should.

Hi Badman, sorry for the late reply. AF locos are great, and I have an 0-6-0 that smokes like a demon too. The Hudson is currently in pieces, because the axle gear was almost entirely stripped (something the seller didn't tell me ), and I'm working on replacing it.

I also repowered the original motor with two diametrically magnetized disc magnets (the north & south poles are along the edge), and it has a lot more torgue. I'll have to post photos of how I did it.

Just chiming in Guys and Gals! How's everybody? Nice find Alco Fan! I'm sort of partial to ICG having all 3 locos in my roundhouse.

Take care all!
