Has anyone ever used Power-Loc track? I've recently been having lots of trouble keeping the joints clean on my E-Z Track and having dead spots, and have been thinking about buying some Power-Loc to see what it's like (since it's perpetually on sale at Walthers at nearly half off).
The way they eliminated rail joiners looks pretty cool, but I'm wondering if the contact plates in the roadbed wear out or get bent? Or if there are any other issues that Power-Loc has compared to EZ-Track?

If I remember correctly, the tabs that lock the pieces together are much more fragile than those on the Bachmann track. I think the contacts on the Power-Loc stuff snap out of place more easily as well.
Now, whether these two things happened through normal use, or the lack of care for the trainset as a child, I'm not quite sure.
I can tell you that I prefer the Bachmann EZ Track simply because you can connect it to regular snap track without an adapter.

If you're looking for the best roadbed type track, get Kato Unitrack. I've tried both the Botchmann, and Death Like track and liked neither of 'em.
