I picked this up on Ebay boxed for $5.50. I've never seen the Virginia & Truckee version around here. Is it somewhat rare? I like this paint scheme over the Great Northern version.

Hey Todd, I believe there is three road names for this life like track cleaner. All three seem to show up fairly regularly.

I had the red / silver one in the 70s, (whatever road name I can't remember). I replaced it a few years ago. All three seem to show up fairly regularly.

I have a photo of mine in the Life Like section of the forum called "work cars" I believe without looking.... along with Life-Like's crane & spotlight car.

That's my plan- to add kadee's and better trucks as well as some weathering.

Todd, I had my old track cleaner on a side track on my 70s layout. I use it, the life like crane and the spotlight car as display items. The crane was way too light to use, the track cleaner I never used as one. The spotlight was used by a working on & off switch. However, I like all three of those cars.
