i started this one a couple years ago. it's an athearn blue box undecorated SD-9 dummy unit. i started by removing the factory molded on ladders, then i cut the big step that athearn used to mold on their pilots off. i still need to put some ladders on it & couplers, but other than that I'm done. i started out going to do a light weathering on it, but my cheap airbrush has a mind of it's own. i have never weathered anything before & this is just my second model train I've ever done. if the pictures are to big, i apologize, i couldn't remember how big they could be. hope you enjoy.

the paint i used to weathered it with is from a testors camouflage kit. all flat colors. i used transparent light gull gray & dark gull gray. i used the light first, then went over it again with the dark gray but just tried to stay lower on it with the darker. i used an airbrush to do it with, whatever airbrush that come with the mighty-mini airbrush kit. the compressor is good, but the airbrush is not the greatest. For a beginner like me I guess it's OK. I'm very proud how this one turned out.

Looks about 10,000 times better than my first airbrush weathering job.

A great piece, Godzilla likes this one too I guess!

VERY Good. Like The Weathering Effect. However, They Didnt Have Dynamics To My Knowledge. I Have Some N Scale Life Like Models From The Factory Without Dynamics.
