While looking at the newest Classic Toy Trains magazine at the LHS I noticed one of the Lionel sets reviewed had an auto loader with four blue and whits HO Athearn yachts. I thought that was interesting.

That Was One of The 3 Magazines I Got Last Night Before I Got The CR ore Car In COTW. Those Arent Athearns. They Are Lionel HO Scale. It Said On The 2 Pages After That In The Last Paragraph of The First Column. Sorry To Be Correcting. I Just Like Reading CTT. And They Were Doing The Tradition Of Going Back 50 Years And Looking At That years Sets. I Have The 1960 Sets Issue.

Okay, On Page 67, It States That The Boats Were Product number 0801-215, Designating HO Scale. If They Were Athearn, It Would Say That The Boats Were Athearn. CTT Could Be Wrong, But I Doubt It.

Ken, Thanks for the link.
CNVIATyco, it's ok man. I've liked those yachts since I was a little boy with my Yacht flat car from my Athearn set and I bought one about a year ago. The are very distintive looking.

Somewhere I have a really nice "whitehall" pulling boat in HO scale.
Have to find a way to feature it in a scene, but not on a railway car, something else.

the CTT 1991 was about the movie one Yes would do the layout in HO minus the spot where Gomez sat & do exact copies of the trains

This post has been hijacked. Step away from the mouse and no trains will be harmed.
Busss that is the same color of yacht in the Lionel Link from Catfordken. The red and White one is rarer. There is also a picture of this Boat Loader in a recent Lionel catalog.

Hey Alco Fan....it never ceases to amaze me that a discussion (in this case Athearn boats) could deteriorate to talking about "The Silver Streak" and "Gomez".

Actually the TOPIC was the Lionel Auto-Loader and boats, not CTT. That was context.
