A clever idea. Did you clear coat the letters after applying to help them stick?

I picked up three passenger cars marked for Ontario's GO Transit. They were called Bachmann, but I am not sure. I thought maybe life-like. I'll let you experts hash it out...

| Interesting paint scheme--is it original? They appear to be Life-Like (unless Bachmann used the exact same molds). These molds were originally either Penn Line or Varney (or both--can't remember!). However, these are later models, so I say Life-Like.

I like those GO cars Mike. They look a little odd with the white window inserts on a white car, but still very cool.
Here's a GI Joe switcher I used to test out my airbrush. The shell was damaged and the stickers were missing, so I figured why not.

To head back to the Tyco 'track', here are my cars of the week--a set of fairly early Tyco New Haven lighted streamliners--I think my favorite of the streamliner offerings. Only thing I don't have is the matching loco--if anyone knows of one available, holler at me!! Chris

| Nice UP car--I've never had one of those--I like how it has a "full" coloring, as opposed to most streamliners being silver.

I have these streamliners as well. I myself would like to have the locomotive to go with them.

[quote] [quote]say those ARE neat Got a GO loco for them? This WAS supposed to be military train thread I thought My son has about therr or four of these. One of them had a red launcher on a yellow flat car named FIRE FOX. I painted the deck as well as the launcher olive drab. He also has two exploding boxcars and a grond launcher that came with one of the boxcars. He has most of the military rail cars that were produced.

I have nothing military to offer. I have a passenger car though. It looks out of scale on my small layout.

Like I said earlier, I have no military rolling stock but I'll bet they supported the war effort with hoppers like this. Bachmann with standard coal load, Camaro by Tyco.

These arrived today--had to share with you all--I got lucky with Ebay, and my bid of $15 held, and I got THREE of these! They are aluminum TycoKit baggage cars. I've only seen them before from an earlier era, and then sold by Mantua. It's the first time I've seen the aluminum cars in a Tyco kit form. All 3 sets are 'new', with everything still wrapped and packaged. At 5 a piece, I figured I couldn't go wrong--
