Hi, just a quick question. Will Bachmann EZ-mate couplers work with Kadee's? I have been purchasing and exchanging my horn hook couplers with Kadee #5s, but then I was looking on Walther's website and stumbled upon a bulk pack of EZ mates for 15 dollars. It comes with 25 pairs, which would cost more than 75 dollars to buy that many Kadee #5s. Another plus is that the EZ mates will directly replace the horn hooks, I think, instead of me haveing to assemble draft gear boxes and sand down the existing coupler boxes. I alredy have 2 Kadee #308 permanent under the track magnets installed, so will the EZ mates work with that? The pack that I am planning on purchasing say E-Z mate magnetic knuckle couplers economy pack 25 pair, center shank medium. Will these work with my Kadee equipment? Thanks,
-Jacob

| They are designed to mate with Kadees.

Ok, will a Kadee magnet uncouple them, too? Thanks,

They are both magnetic couplers, so really any magnet would uncouple them I do believe.

i just noticed i screwed up, i was thinking of the proto max couplers by walthers. the e-z mates are alright as well. i have some of them too, but i've never seen them come with draft gear boxs. if your converting old cars that have the coupler pockets on them you'll be ok with the e-z mates.
sorry about the bad information.
