Hi All,

What is the best metal replacement wheel for Tyco rolling stock? I like to keep my tyco stuff original if possible but some times I get one that has no wheels. I tried the Proto 2000 33" Series by Walthers but they fit too tight, So I put them on my LifeLike/Bachmann stuff. They look nice but they make a sound like they are out of round even though the cars do not wobble.I did have to trim the axle ends just a hair to make them roll freely. Think this could be the problem or is this normal for this brand? Does someone have a list of wheel sets that fit each Mfrs. cars? Any help would be great.

Thanks
Mike

I find Intermountain wheels fit well most of the time.
