Here's a short video of a layout I built nearly 20 years ago now. It hasn't been seen or run in about 6 years, but I hope to extract it from its hiding place soon and get it running again.

The layout is less than 4 square feet, but has continuously running trains in OO and N scale.

Clever design.

I like that OO scale locomotivve a lot, although I have no idea what type it is.

It's a Bachmann Branchline British Railways class 03.
