I have a set of Athearn heavyweight passenger cars (each truck has 3 axles). Most of them run very smooth, but 2 or 3 of the cars came from the factory with a mix of plastic and metal axles/wheels . The plastic wheels have a problem with derailing. I bought a package of TrueLine wheels/axles from my LHS (the guy there said they should work), but the diameter is too small for the large passenger trucks. Does anyone know of a company that makes wheel-sets large enough for these cars? If I have to I can probably get them directly from Athearn, but that would either involve a 2 hour drive or a 2 month wait...kind of a pain in the neck. Any other options?
Thanx -cheez

Thanks Ray. The package I have says 33"...guess that's why they were too small O_o. I'll have a look for some 36" next time I'm at a hobby shop
