The active topic in GiCs section is about reversing lights. I was cleaning up some of my collection, if you'd call it that, and I realized my UP SD24 is dual lighted on both ends as the power is applied. Does any other Tyco have this trait? Are all SDs by Tyco daul lighted?
Also you don't see many of these on the 'bay and a lot seem to be missing their plows or anti-climbers on the pilots. I have one other complete SD and it's a Chessie.

All SD24s are dual lighted. But they do not have reversing lights. The SD24 and the PhI 630 were the only Tyco diesels to have light pipes in the body. The pipes connect both sets of headlights, which then illuminate simultaneously from a single bulb.

Thanks, I had not run recently and had forgotten my 2 Phase I Super 630s are both dual lighted. You don't see many of the SD24s on the 'bay and a lot seem to be missing their plows or anti-climbers on the pilots.
