All encouraged to post. This topic is for posting video/sound of train horns.

I will start with a Nathan K5LA i found on youtube. This video to me is the best sounding. I love it.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GThNi9MJiD4

That K5LA sounds almost melodic! By way of contrast, you gotta dig the funky GG1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKdnMGXCNF0

The GG1 had a awesome horn very unique!

So one of the SD38's on the railroad local to me has had a screwed up horn for awhile, sorta sounded like a trolley haha. Someone else finally caught video if it awhile ago, according to the vid its a Leslie horn. But the sound isn't very typical!

The Leslie RS5-T configuration will always be the king of horns. Hands down. Its not offten I get them much on a locomotive anymore but when I do I really wail the hell out of it..

Heres a video I shot one night....Its mainly for sound...Its of an S5-T
