I'll start the LOTW with an Athearn SD-40. I've added a Digitrax DH123AT decoder.

Yes, it is an EMD BL2. I thought they were ugly when I first saw them, but in these colours it grew on me...

I picked up this Lima diesel switcher today at a flea market:

Can anyone determine how old it is? It is powered by a pancake motor that looks ALOT like a Tyco PT motor. After taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning/lube it runs much better however it's a little quick. I wouldn't mind repowering it. Any suggestions? I think it will look cool with some detailing, weathering a flashing beacon and maybe DCC with sound.

I posted this some time ago and thought with all the BL2s around this might be of interest.

It came with a lot bought on the 'bay. It's a kitbbash, nonpowered on a hifi chassis
