This was built in 1985. My wife painted it which improved the looks dramtically. The Fire trucks are from Boley and the Fire Chief car is from Busch which is Dodge Monaco from 78-79 year model. Appropiat street markings also. The street light is a Brawa model Single head. The bulb is painted flourescent Yellow so when it is lit-looks like a High pressure Sodium lamp(Yellow colored street/parking lights)

Great stuff...Interestingly, there are prototypes for that and the police station. They're found in Woodlawn, just inside the Baltimore City line in the northwest. My uncle was a proby there and my dad would stand in from time to time.

wait a minute! I read that the real Life-Like Police station had been torn down years ago! If both places still exist someone get pics of both the fire & police stations

Nice Brian! Since the 70s, I have always liked the Hampden Fire Station. I have one of them today but I didn't add very much paint detail to mine....to keep it similar to the one I had years ago. I have an AFX Fire Chief car & Rescue Van to place in the front openings. The Life-Like Buildems buildings are so neat.
