I was working on a PT power truck when I noticed it ran better if I loosened the screws on the bottom of the truck. This seemed to free the axles a bit. This PT had the thicker axles. It was if the bottom of the truck was putting pressure on the axles or axle. At this point the truck bottom is loose and will wobble a bit.

I would check to see if the bottom cover is the right one, or check for casting flash. You may also be able to shim the bottom cover with thin washers.

I tried a different truck cover and it helped. Thanks
