All I am looking for information on some Bachmann Trainsets. I have reviewed the online catologs and cannot seemt to find the sets I had as a kid. Here is a description of the sets.
1st set had the following. CB&Q 4-8-4 Northern with sound tender Mobile 3 dome tank BN 4 bay hopper Swift 50ft reefer GN 40' stock car ATSF 50 foot flat with pulpwood rack Side dump log car UP crane and work caboose.
Track included a figure 8 with a second oval surrounding it. Two turnouts were included to switch between the figure 8 and the outside loop.
I got the set for Christmas in the early eighties. Maybe 82 or 83. The set came in a regular box instead of the typical trainset flat box. Probably sold through JC Pennys, Montgomery Ward, or Sears Christmas catolog.
Well we will start with this set. Any clues?
