As long as I'm posting random things to find out what they are, I might as well post this.
I'll I can tell you is that it is tri-ang, was in my grandma's basement and has a horrible paint job. When was it made and is this a repaint??
This is a fleishmann that was also in my grandma's basement. Got any idea when it was made?? On the side it says GFR(german federal railways) 1302R. It also says 1963 on the side.

| hi dacheez, only info so far on fleischmann,is its a class e69 from the 1960s as you stated, most of these were churned out in green db livery, the gfr and db are the same, duetsche bundersbahn, the green one unboxed sell here between £20/£35,but i have only seen the red once before so if its running i would suggest here the value would be £30/£40 maybe more depending to how rare, ken

Hi Cheez. Your Fleischmann is an 0-4-0 steeple-cab electric loco Class E69, German Fed. Rys Cataloged in the late 1960s, . There is two colors Red # 1302 R and Green 1302 G. It has a working pantograph. It retailed for $9.98 in 1968.

I figured the boxcar was probably a repaint. It's got some pretty strange couplers on it though.
I too have seen the green 1302G engine on ebay. I believe mine says made in western germany on it. When you say it has a working pantagraph, do you mean the pantagraph will actually pick up power from an overhead wire?
Ken-yes, the engine does work. It runs very well. The only thing that I need to try and fix are the screw holes on the engine. Over time the holes were stripped and one of the screws in missing. But once I fix that, it will be good as new.

I just found 3 fleischmann E69 locos on Ebay. There are 2 green ones (one looks unmarked, the other I can't tell what it says), and then there is a blue one with a white cab. I've never seen the blue one before but I'd say it's a repaint as the bottom section of the shell is painted a different colour than the rest of the shell (engine comes apart into three pieces: motor+chasis, sideframe and shell.) What do you guys think?

Well maybe it is standard colours, but I'm still not positive this has not been repainted. The link you sent me was grey at the bottom, while the one on ebay was brown and it didn't have any markings.

P.S. this piece is now up to $15.50

I love Fleishmann models from the 60's of American prototypes such as the Baldwin looking switcher and Alco FA's. Smooth running diecast metal with great decoration.

| Ken: Yup Yup...thats the one. The reason I think its a repaint is cuz of the brown paint around the bottom and the lack of a roadname and number.
