Ken, Here's another link to Walthers, looks like the list price is $329.00, it looks pretty cool but I dont have room for it. I do have the 130' turntable, it works very well. Trainworld in New York has decent prices on the Walthers items. The turntable lists for $300, I think I paid around $225. The second link is to the Trainworld site.

Hi Guys:
That scene is an unbelievable one. Just love it...
-Gareth PS: Ken how old was the Benz again? Pretty sure a 280CD or 300CD would suite me. I'm even thinking that a small pick-up witha 2.8/3.0 Benz engine would be an ideal rig!

Only $329? I guess when I saw Athearn locos break the C note barrier, digital vacuum cleaner cars for $400 and fluid track cleaner cars for $100...sigh...add to that $55 passenger cars and $40 boxcars and modelers like me are definitely in the slow lane of this hobby.

Hey SG:
Yeah and ain't we lucky!
I just got a bit ago a late 40's Varney Super Consolie that Ray is working on. There's nothing RTR today with or woithout sound I'd trade for it! There's something about knowing that 1:1 scale Consolies were still pounding rail when mine was made....

Yes we are...those under the table box lots are safe around those folks. I just smile and plunk down my $30 for a near mint Rivarossi Y6b, knowing that one day, that MTH Triplex will be pining away under a table somewhere, waiting for my $30 because the latest trend is real coal fired steamers with working airbrakes and diesels with working turbochargers and mu capabilities.

Hey SG:
Love the under table diving. Learned this from Todd (NYC) at First Frost couple years ago!

| I buy my automobiles the same way. I've never bought a new car, they're expensive and you burn a few thousand bucks by the time you get it home.

Me too on the Auto thing...
Have a 14 year old Subaru with 285000km's on it. About to do bodywork big time thanks to the idiots who overdo the salt during winter! Motor should be good for 500000kms!. This will be it's last full time year. After next spring, she becomes a winter only car....
