I scanned this old, faded 110 picture of my father and me assembling my first train set. The year was either '69 or '70. Notice the Tyco red boxes, a Swift reefer, and a GN culvert flat. We must have been using my new "Handy Andy" tool set to help with assembly (in the background). Seems that it's not only the trains that are "Vintage" now!

Did that set have the 430 Alco? I have that set and got it about that time. I have an SF caboose the flat with culverts , piggy back w/ trailers and the reefer that are seen in the pic.

| That set came from Sears, and had the Santa Fe GP-20, Swift, GN Flat w/culverts, Piggyback car, operating ore dump car, and caboose.
