Wow, this is interresting!! The streamliners and old time coaches seem to come from TriAng´s Transcontinental range. Ramsey´s British Model Trains Catalogue lists them as being made in 67. The container carrier is definately Hornby 00 scale and much of the accessories was made by Hornby either.
Have a great day,
Martin

Some of their line was either Meheno or what became Meheno later - the Alco C415, an early version of the FT with too-short body and nose, a similar F9, and some American freight cars. The rest seemed to be Hornby and Tri-ang items - European passenger cars with US roadnames, an RDC with the pilot on the truck like many N and O27 pieces, and so on. Some of the accessories were unique, one brick arch bridge seems to be a Southern Railway prototype per the cast-on plate on it. Although I suppose it could be the UK Southern and not the US Southern.
The C415 would later be offered by Life-Like, and it shared drive components with the early versions of the RS11 and the AHM RS2. The two F-units seem to have been modified to correct the proportion issues, the F9 becoming a Bachmann offering, the FT passing through AHM to Bachmann later. The drive is unique to them, it's been long enough since I looked at one that I don't remember what else it's shared with but the later issues are completely different.

Ken, there´s the giant bridge as well, still sold by Hornby! Triang actually was eventually taken over by Rovex and incorporated to the Hornby range, well the original Triang models formed Hornby in the beginning. So, mentioning Hornby was not really wrong. Ramsey´s lists Hornby/Triang/Rovex in one chapter, that´s why I simply took the name Hornby.
Anyway, still interresting to see this!
Martin

Didn´t take it wrong, Ken! Hornby is definately confusing! Now even more, as Lima, Rivarossi, Jouef, Electrotren and Arnold is part of the show!
Cheers,
Martin
