Ken, I have a Bachmann Spectrum U-boat that has an open window like that. I thought it was to be more prototypical. But it looks wrong too.

| I think your not really "missing" anything. Mine is also made without the center piece. Bachmann did the same thing with the B23-7. Atleast they attempted to show the engineer's window being open. The B23-7 has the open window on the fireman's side.

looks to big its meant to be open with driver in seat,but looks wrong,thanks alco fan and Hypoponera ken

| Should you so desire, it would be easy to add a thin piece of plastic to the frame and then a peice of clear plastic for the window. The hard part really is matching the paint. Or you could paint the frame work in silver.
