Here are pictures and video of Bachmann's diesel horn in oil storage tank. The horn does not even sound close to a diesel. It is repulsive to me. My daughter who is 3 thinks this is the funniest sound. This one came in a lot of items i bought a while back. I would not pay to purchase one. There are better units=Cicuitron-available for realistic diesel horn

One of those was on a table at a train show I attended last week.

I asked the kid if he wanted it but he said it would not look right on his layout.

Now after reading this Im glad I didnt go for it.

You definately don't want one of these...
But two or more is okay. [:)] Several of them look better as a tank farm. And by adjusting the tone of them all to be different, you can connect them all up to a single push button and get a better diesel horn sound. [:0]

Note: This is only worth trying if you can get them cheap. [:D]
