has anyone tired to put two of the tyco motors into one shell, if so anything special needed...want to kit bash a centipede and was thinking of powering the front and rear trucks, bogey trucks in the center for the look..any ideas if this can be done or not? thanks for any info or help...

Don't remember if I said welcome aboard, so Welcome aboard.
As to your question oddly enough TYCO put two motors in one shell in a version of their "F" unit.

Some of us have double motored the Alco 630. Nothing special needed, save that they are identical motors- i.e., same motor, same gearing, similar running speed. Just be sure both motors are wired to pick up from the track in parallel, and they both run the same direction when the track power is on(Duh!)
